Emerell increases its presence in Germany

Emerell, the Swiss custom manufacturer for polymer specialties and high-quality adhesives, is strengthening its technical sales. Dr Günther Spaeth is now providing customer support with a focus on Germany. The graduate chemist from Wetter an der Ruhr has many years of experience in the fields of adhesives and sealants as well as plastic films.

As Market Development & Sales Manager, Dr Günther Spaeth is now helping Emerell acquire new customers and is providing customer support in the German market. He received a doctorate in physical chemistry at the University of Dortmund, and since then has had various managerial functions in the packaging, adhesive tape and label industry. His responsibilities have included being head of development for applications technology at one of the world’s biggest adhesive manufacturers and also technical manager at major international producers of adhesive tapes and sealants.

First independent manufacturing partner

In 2013 Emerell started as the first independent manufacturing partner for the industrial manufacture of polymer specialties and high-quality adhesives. The international company has four sites in Switzerland and Germany with a total of 200 employees. Its technological areas of expertise are blown film and cast film extrusion, extrusion coating, polymerisation, chemical reactions as well as mixing techniques for liquid, paste-like and reactive products. On behalf of its customers Emerell manufactures mainly products for industrial applications in vehicles, aircraft, textiles, construction materials, solar plants, in medical technology and in the food industry.
